Announcing new chair and managing director

The Trillium Network for Advanced Manufacturing is pleased to announce that Ben Whitney has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board of Directors (effective May 2019) and that Brendan Sweeney has been appointed as the new Managing Director (effective September 2019). 

Ben Whitney is the President of Armo Tool Limited, a London-based manufacturer of precision tooling, and its sister company, Abuma Manufacturing, a London-based metal fabricator. Ben replaces Carol Stephenson, who has made exceptional contributions to Trillium over the past five years. 

Brendan Sweeney comes to Trillium from the Automotive Policy Research Centre (APRC) at McMaster University, where he also taught in the DeGroote School of Business and the Faculty of Social Science. Brendan replaces Trillium co-founder Paul Boothe, who will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors.
