Government incentive programs are a useful tool to support manufacturers that are investing in new technologies, innovation, and workforce development. While manufacturers and economic development professionals may be most familiar with programs such as the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF) and Eastern Ontario Development Fund (EODF), there are dozens more that support manufacturing investments throughout the province. These include the recently launched Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) Stream of Ontario’s Regional Development Program (RDP).
Join us for a panel discussion hosted by the CFO Centre’s Robert Kunihiro and moderated by Brendan Sweeney (Trillium Network for Advanced Manufacturing), where Mike Bilton (Select Tool), Ben Whitney (Armo-Tool), and Nancy Creighton (MEDJCT) will share their experiences with and advice related to applying for incentives and how these programs have supported manufacturers in Ontario. This discussion will be valuable for manufacturers that are considering applying for government incentives to support investments and for economic development professionals who support those manufacturers.
