Who they are: Based at Western University, Western Space is an interdisciplinary research centre that works to strengthen and grow the Canadian Earth and space exploration communities by training the next generation of scientists, engineers, social scientists, and entrepreneurs.
What they offer: Western Space’s research offerings are based around six key research themes including Earth observations, monitoring and protection, exploration technologies, planetary processes and materials, space health, and space policy and law. Western Space also trains researchers through space and exploration forums, experiential learning opportunities, networking events, and special research projects.
