Who they are: Niagara College’s WAMIC, is a technology access centre where they provide an array of equipment and software, and expert staff to support innovation goals. The centre specializes in precision metrology, prototype design and development, and digital manufacturing.
What they offer: WAMIC works with businesses on collaborative applied research projects involving process development, engineering design, technology development, product testing, and proof of concept work. They also have a variety of equipment including 3D design software, additive manufacturing equipment, 3D dimensional metrology equipment, and computer technology to create digital twins of facilities and equipment.
