The University of Toronto Electric Vehicle (UTEV) Research Centre focuses on next-generation EV technologies. UTEV’s research focuses include enhanced energy management, energy storage, advanced power modules, next-generation powertrain, ubitquitous charging, and electric vehicle opportunities.
Through its university-industry partnerships, UTEV’s benefits companies/partners through the creation of new Intellectual Property, investigation of state-of-the-art and novel concepts, leveraging UTEV expertise for short-term engineering projects, training and education, and developing new partnerships within EV research.
