Who they are: Based at the UTSC, the Hub is an innovation centre and incubator that assists in the creation and launching of new companies. As of 2021, the Hub at UTSC has launched more than 180 startups, including manufacturers in robotics, advanced computing, life sciences, and biomaterial industries.
What they offer: The Hub assists with startup development which includes initial ideation, the first stages of revenue generation, and angel investment. It also offers mentoring, workshops, one-on-one coaching, initial funding support, marketing, prototype validation, market research, and workspaces.
