Who they are: The Synapse Life Science Consortium is the regional cluster organization for the Greater Hamilton Region’s life sciences ecosystem. The cluster is made up of hundreds of life science organizations, companies, organizations, and research institutes including McMaster University, Mohawk College, Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.
What they offer: The consortium offers support to established businesses and entrepreneurs through three means, communication and impact promotion, creating networking and collaboration opportunities between partners and stakeholders, and working to attract companies to the region while securing investments. They also offer programs focused on addressing common regional challenges and accelerating business development.
