Spark Centre is a Regional Innovation Centre and business incubator that provides advisory services, office space, and day-to-day operational support to early-stage and rapidly growing innovation and technology companies. Spark Centre works to improve the competitiveness and visibility of Durham Region and Northumberland County as a world-class innovation cluster.

Spark Centre has developed a curriculum for growing businesses at all stages of development. Program offerings also include access to Canada’s Start-Up Visa (SUV) program intended to attract foreign entrepreneurs who wish to establish new, high-growth businesses in Canada. Service providers and partners have the opportunity to become residents of the Spark Centre, where they will work alongside the next generation of innovators as they get their start-ups off the ground. Spark Centre elevates the key industry sectors including Energy, Health, Manufacturing, Digital Media, Agritech, Health Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, Clean Tech, Information Tech, Incubation and High Tech.
