Science Discovery Zone (SDZ)

Based at the Toronto Metropolitan University, the Science Discovery Zone (SDZ) integrates experiential learning with innovation, allowing people to take evidence-based approaches to test big ideas and discover new ventures. Put simply, the SDZ is an incubator of people and ideas.

The SDZ’s range of membership streams support companies that are entirely new to innovation, in the early stages of development, or looking to connect with a strong scientific or technical talent network. The SDZ’s startup companies include developers of microbial monitoring sensors and nutrition products, in addition to materials research and development laboratories.
