Production and Operations Management Research Lab (POM)

The Production & Operation Management (POM) lab is a research laboratory at the University of Windsor’s Department of Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering (MAME). POM is comprised of researchers coming from all different corners of the world, including Post-Doctoral Fellows, PhD and Master’s students, and both Graduate and Undergraduate Interns.

POM’s research spans Product Definition and Design, Planning Support Functions, and Product Production. POM emphasizes themes and newer notions and domains of manufacturing, design, sustainability, and state-of-the-art computations and algorithms. Planning functions and application of Mathematical Programming and Non-traditional Optimization are particularly being highlighted and focused on.
