Based at Georgian College, the Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre is an academic and research facility that brings together industry, faculty, and students who innovate and collaborate to turn ideas into viable products and help grow the economy. Local and regional businesses go to Georgian College for help with idea generation, concept testing, prototyping, market research, product and process enhancements and more, making this new facility an incredible asset.

The Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre features emerging technologies in robotics, environmental science, manufacturing, and assembly equipment. It has the only anechoic chamber in the region designed to measure sounds or electromagnetic waves emitted by devices and assess their impact. The heart of the new facility is the Alectra Centre for Research, Innovation and Commercialization, which provides students and industry partners with access to research, incubator, changemaker, and fabrication space.
