Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre (NOIC)

The Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre (NOIC) is a Regional Innovation Centre that was established to promote job growth by supporting entrepreneurs and established companies to grow their business.

NOIC contributes to long-term economic growth for Thunder Bay and the Northwestern Ontario region by creating favourable economic conditions for technology transfer to industry through the development and commercialization of innovative companies by encouraging the ongoing cooperation between business, education and government. For instance, NOIC’s MI-zone and ICT initiatives provide product development and technology adoption assistance for companies.
