Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (NGen)


Organizational focus: Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (NGen) supports the development of advanced manufacturing capabilities in Canada.

Who they are: NGen is an industry-led, not-for-profit organization leading Canada’s Advanced Manufacturing Cluster. It is one of five national networks supported by Canada’s Global Innovation Clusters Initiative and boasts over 4,000 members, including industry partners, research partners, small and medium-sized enterprises, and manufacturers. 

What they offer: NGen provides project and workforce development funding, a network of partnerships that reinforce research, technology and industrial strengths, and cybersecurity support for small and medium enterprises. NGen’s network of partners includes domestic and international governments, education partners, and ecosystem partners that assist in deploying advanced technologies.
