Organizational focus: The mHealth & eHealth Development and Innovation Centre (MEDIC) provides small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) access to digital health expertise, advanced technology, and cutting-edge equipment.
Who they are: MEDIC is a technology access centre dedicated to digital health research and technology development. As part of IDEAWORKS, Mohawk College’s applied research hub, MEDIC includes a team of full-time IT professionals, expert staff, and co-op students, working to support industry partners.
What they offer: MEDIC specializes in digital health applied research, advanced skill development, and product integration expertise. They lead the design, development, and testing of new digital health technologies. Additionally, MEDIC assists industry partners in accessing government funding and provides two research labs focused on digital health innovations.
