Lambton Manufacturing Innovation Centre (LMIC)
Organizational focus: The Lambton Manufacturing Innovation Centre (LMIC) supports the manufacturing and fabrication industry, businesses, and organizations with access to expertise (ie. students, faculty, and infrastructure) at Lambton College.
Who they are: LMIC is a technology access centre for regional advanced manufacturing. LMIC is funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and Lambton College.
What they offer: LMIC offers industry support on research, product, process, and materials development, applied research projects, and specialized training services. LMIC is home to several laboratory facilities, including the Advanced Manufacturing & 3D Printing Lab with design and fabrication space for rapid prototyping, additive printing, and integrated systems engineering.
