Craig Richardson Institute of Food Processing Technology (IFPT)
Based at Conestoga College’s Cambridge campus, the Institute of Food Processing Technology (IFPT) provides education, training, research, and technical expertise focused on the Canadian food and beverage manufacturing industry.
The IFPT develops multi-skilled graduates with leadership and plant-floor expertise, and partner with food and beverage manufacturers to achieve technological solutions. Its facilities include a food testing laboratory, and a food processing pilot plant which provide students the opportunity to operate industry equipment on three complete production lines: bakery, fresh vegetables and beverage. Furthermore, the IFPT provides part-time and full-time educational programs and courses pertaining to food processing operations.
