Innovation Initiatives Ontario North (iiON)
Located at Canadore College, Innovation Initiatives Ontario North (IION) is a Regional Innovation Centre that assists innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups and existing companies to develop and scale. iiON‘s mission is to be the regional champion for the adoption and acceleration of innovation and technology by increasing the volume and velocity of economic growth through access to technology, alignment of commercialization opportunities, and navigation of available resources.
IION serves companies in a variety of sectors; including but not limited to: Advanced Manufacturing, Mining, Forestry, Food & Beverage, Clean Technology, Digital Media & ICT and Life Sciences. By connecting clients with experts and resources (internal and external), IION helps entrepreneurs and companies accelerate their growth as they develop and market new or refined products, processes, or services. Although iiON is located at Canadore College in North Bay, it proudly serves the districts of Nipissing, Timiskaming, Parry Sound, and Muskoka.
