ICUBE UTM
Based at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), ICUBE UTM is an early-stage startup accelerator that supports students and local entrepreneurs seeking coworking spaces, resources, programs, workshops, and events. ICUBE’s programs include an Indigenous business training program in partnership with Redbord Circle Inc., an experiential learning program for startups, and a boutique-style business development program.
The ICUBE Studio is an initiative at the University of Toronto’s Institute for Management & Innovation that serves ICUBE’s design needs and provides enrolled UTM students with a professional work-integrated learning (WIL) experience. ICUBE Studio’s students are talented consultants, marketers, business individuals, designers, and software developers who have undergone a screening process and are supervised by faculty and staff who have extensive business experience. Students work individually or in small creative teams and take responsibility for all project stages — design, production, and implementation.
