Giga-to-Nanoelectronics Centre (G2N)


Based at the University of Waterloo, the Giga-to-Nanoelectronics Centre (G2N) is a unique on-campus microfabrication facility offering a wide range of capabilities for processing electronic materials and devices. G2N lab facilitates interdisciplinary research that spans nano-materials processing to large-area electronics development. In addition to enabling academic research programs, G2N also provides the capability to develop and prototype novel emerging technologies for commercial applications.

Development of cost-effective process technologies for high-performance sensors and thin-film transistors

Design of novel sensors

Read-out circuitry and system architecture

Development of transient and steady-state numerical and SPICE models

Integration of the various technology kernel, which included assembly and packaging, for high performance optical and X-ray imaging
