Organizational focus: Fashion Exchange (FX) provides a range of training, technologies, and services for the needs of the fashion business and manufacturing industry.
Who they are: Based at George Brown College, FX is an urban manufacturing hub that assists fashion entrepreneurs with design and production services. FX brings together fashion educators, industry partners, community organizations, and fashion graduates to help commercialize products in the fashion industry.
What they offer: FX offers apparel manufacturing services to support fashion designers and labels in their sample-making and small-run production needs. Its production services include design mentoring, product development, digital pattern making, automated cutting, sewing, pressing, and finishing.
