Food Processing Skills Canada (FPSC)


Formed in 2009 as Food Processing HR Council (FPHRC), Food Processing Skills Canada (FPSC) is a labour, skills and workforce non-profit organization that develops training programs and products to meet the needs of food and beverage manufacturers. FPSC has developed a national skills strategy that builds collaborations with industry, government, academia, unions, associations, community organizations and other stakeholders.

FPSC supports industry by implementing new learning frameworks, setting industry standards, conducting insightful research, providing companies with funding, certifying people’s skills, leading competency development, and exporting new course concepts and training models.

Through its comprehensive programs, FPSC assists Canadians and newcomers with opportunities to develop skills and gain rewarding careers while supporting employers and providing the best resources for industry.
