Organizational focus: The Energy Research Centre (ERC) fosters research and commercial partnerships in clean and green energy technologies.
Who they are: Based within Ontario Tech University’s Faculty of Energy Systems and Nuclear Science, the ERC is a 9,290-square-metre facility home to educational programs and research related to energy technologies. It is also home to the Brilliant Energy Institute, which focuses on clean and sustainable energy technologies.
What they offer: The ERC offers industry partners collaborative research and development in geothermal, hydraulic, hydrogen, natural gas, nuclear, solar and wind technologies. It supports entrepreneurs through public-private research, commercialization partnerships, and access to its network of twelve research labs.
