Who they are: Hosted by the University of Toronto’s Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research, DSC is a full-service genomic sequencing facility. The centre is supported by federal and provincial grants from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (MEDJCT).
What they offer: DSC supports researchers and companies in planning genome or RNA-Seq sequencing projects, conducting CRISPR screening studies on organisms’ genomes, and developing new methods using advanced sequencing technology and library preparation services. It also offers project consultations, data interpretation, and in-person training for staff and students.
