Centre for Advancing Neurotechnological Innovation to Application (CRANIA)

Organizational focus: The Centre for Advancing NeuroTechnological Innovation to Application (CRANIA) accelerates the translation of neuromodulation research to patient solutions that improve brain health and function.

Who they are: Hosted by the University of Toronto and the University Health Network’s KITE Research Institute, CRANIA brings together cross-discipline clinical and academic expertise and patient access in a centre for research, development, application, and commercialization of neuromodulation technologies and interventions.

What they offer: Home to more than 60 scientists, CRANIA partners with leading institutions and companies to integrate therapies that positively impact patients’ lives. CRANIA manages facilities with the space to create clinical workflows and design neuromodulatory hardware. It also operates an incubator program to accelerate the commercialization of neuromodulation technologies.
