Centre for Cybersecurity Innovation
Based at Durham College, the Centre for Cybersecurity Innovation offers current and aspiring cybersecurity professionals, as well as public and private-sector organizations, access to applied research services and leading-edge education in cybersecurity to prepare for the ever-changing and complex threat landscape.
The Centre for Cybersecurity Innovation prioritizes research regarding the protection of networks and systems connected to the internet by predicting, detecting, and intercepting cyberattacks through technical tools such as firewalls and threat detection services. Ontario manufacturers aiming to implement Industry 4.0 or advanced manufacturing aspects in their operations stand to benefit from these applied research efforts. With funding support from various regional, provincial and federal agencies, the Centre for Cybersecurity Innovation helps industry and community partners to meet today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.
