Who they are: Based within the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Applied Engineering, CARTE is a research and development hub that facilitates partnerships in analytics and AI. Its faculty applies AI and machine learning techniques to manage issues in various industry sectors, including aerospace and life sciences.
What they offer: CARTE offers a combination of applied research partnerships with industry, government and research institutes. In addition, CARTE connects analytics/AI researchers with domain-specific experts while providing training courses, consulting, workshops, experiential learning, and support to leverage funds from the government.
