Organizational focus: The Bombardier Centre for Aerospace and Aviation focuses on advancing avionics, aircraft maintenance, and aerospace manufacturing education.
Who they are: Based at Centennial College’s Downsview campus, the Bombardier Centre for Aerospace and Aviation is home to the School of Transportation’s aviation programs as well as the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science’s programs in aerospace manufacturing. The four-acre campus repurposed the De Havilland of Canada building to create approximately 138,000 square feet of instruction and research space.
What they offer: The centre offers a tremendous space to accommodate six aerospace programs ranging from technicians to engineering technologists. The facility offers two aircraft hangars and labs for electrical, avionics, structural components, robotics, CNC programming, engines, and composites.
