Who they are: The Ottawa Hospital’s BMC is a biotherapeutics research and development centre that has manufactured several cell- and virus-based products. This includes the production of cancer immunotherapies, vaccines for COVID-19, and many other products.
What they offer: BMC provides expert services, training, and advanced technologies to develop and manufacture viral, cell, and antibody-based therapeutics for pre-clinical and human clinical trials. With eight manufacturing suites and forty full-time staff, BMC offers many services to partners, including process development, manufacturing and fill-finish.
