Advanced Micro-/Nano- Devices Lab

Based at the University of Waterloo, the Advanced Micro/ Nano Devices Lab uses its unique resources to perform world-class research in the field of micro/nanotechnology. Its research goals include developing and fabricating mechanical machines that are integrated with microelectronics at the micron scale, realizing fully functioning performance-enhanced biomedical nanodevices for clinical deployment, and the development of Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers (CMUT). These research areas are consistent with the Advanced Micro/ Nano Devices Lab’s goal of designing practical micro/nanosystem solutions to common real-world problems.
