Advanced Micro-/Nano- Devices Lab (AMNL)
Organizational focus: The Advanced Micro/Nano Devices Lab (AMNL) uses unique resources to perform research and development in micro/nanotechnology.
Who they are: Based at the University of Waterloo, the AMNL features researchers and graduate students who perform advanced research in micro/nanotechnology. The applications of this research range across many industries, including advanced manufacturing and life sciences, on a micron scale.
What they offer: The AMNL develops mechanical machines integrated with microelectronics, biomedical nanodevices, and capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducers (CMUT) for large-area real-time 3D imaging. The lab also provides expertise for developing new micro/nanodevice fabrication production processes.
