University of Guelph – Advanced Manufacturing Lab (AML)
Based at the University of Guelph, the Advanced Manufacturing Lab (AML) is a multipurpose and interdisciplinary facility for instructional and research-related manufacturing operations. Established in early 2014, the AML has been providing services and consultation to industrial partners and other academic institutions. The AML is equipped with a variety of conventional and CNC machining tools, as well as a range of sensors to measure, monitor, and control machining processes. Moreover, the AML provides training to people in the manufacturing industry for specific applications. Accelerated boot camps are run at the AML for computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), programmable logic controller (PLC), and System Integration use.
