Organizational focus: The Accelerator for Donnelly Collaboration (AcDC) supports research and collaboration between scientists and start-up biotechnology companies.
Who they are: Hosted by the University of Toronto’s Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research, AcDC is a biotechnology hub for startup companies and scientists collaborating with the Donnelly Centre. The AcDC supports collaborative research projects and promotes innovation between university researchers and industry.
What they offer: The AcDC is home to several platforms collaborating with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, including the Toronto Recombinant Antibody Centre (TRAC) and the Platform for Advanced Cell Engineering (PACE). TRAC and PACE collaborate to discover new antibody-based drugs and other biologics.
