Ontario Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (AMC)
Ontario’s AMC is a partnership between McMaster University, the University of Waterloo, and Western University that makes it easier for industry to access technical expertise and world-class capabilities. The AMC’s key objective is to advance innovation capacity in the manufacturing sector by helping businesses develop, commercialize and adopt advanced technologies. Through the AMC, manufacturers can reach an advanced manufacturing expert who can assess the company’s needs and connect them to the right support.
The AMC works with small and medium enterprises (SMEs), multinational enterprises (MNEs), and start-ups across a range of industries – including automotive, general manufacturing and materials development, aerospace/defence, health, consumer good, housing, energy, and food. Its dedicated storefront team and research experts are focused on rapid transfer and provide support throughout industry project life cycles.
