On March 16th and 17th, 2017, the Automotive Policy Research Centre (APRC) held its second annual research workshop at the Kingbridge Centre in King City, ON. Attended by academic, industry stakeholders, and policy-makers, the workshop featured research presentations by APRC researchers and plenary presentations by international guests.
Trillium Deputy Directors, Dave Hudson and David Moloney, were among the group of presenters at the workshop. They highlighted Trillium’s work and showcased the progress of our signature Geo-Mapping program.
Workshop topics ranged from the effect of electricity pricing in Ontario on auto manufacturing competitiveness to a look at how wages have fluctuated in Ontario’s unionized automotive parts manufacturing industry from 2007 to 2016.
